Hi all, judging by my question newbie obviously... I recently bought a P38 in reasonable nick but as we all know a state of short duration! So I ventured into the dark art of P38 repair. A hobby! I naively thought...
First up, I'm changing the fuel pump as the inlet/outlet pipes are horribly corroded and came across the abovementioned and shown in the attached pic - a clip holding the breathing pipe. Not being much of a mechanic, I don't recognise it.
a) Is it re-usable ?
b) How does one get it off without hurting the hose ?
c) would a worm-gear one be a suitable replacement?
