Nanocom says I'm running at around 90C - the temp sender is agood, I replaced it with a genuine Bosch part about 6 months ago when it _was_ running at a lower temp. How else can I test this?

Did a 7 mile run this morning, got to operating temp about 5 miles in.

Checked the provent afterward and there's no mayo - so not sure if it's only happening on longer runs (will be doing a motorway run later and restest).

I looked at the dipstick last night and it only had oil on it.

ok,it could just be residue from before bud.give it a good hard run and see how it goes later.you might even need to change the oil sooner than you might otherwise have needed to.but wait and see how it goes first.;)

Right so did some 'very enthusiastic' driving earlier which has immediately resulted in some 'mayo'

Here's what it looks like:

Here's some smeared on my finger, notice how the black stuff is very kinda of plastic like, but the clear/straw coloured liquid that seperates out does not have an oil consistency, more like syrup - is it glycol from coolant (does OAT have it in?)?
