got my direct line renewal through... £450 fully comp..

just thinking of lift and bigger tyres..

rang flux, lancaster, pbis.. best quote was 900 for modified.. peter best wont insure modified main vehicle at all, only 2nd vehicles..

oer started to worry..

rang direct line.. stated 2" lift and bigger tyres.. light bar.. etc..

£619 including green lane cover..

i dont think thats too bad concidering what the supposed experts were quoting..

My modified cover was 450 full comp, telling em tyre and lift and plan to change engine.
It was only that dear because I changed address after I took out the policy and my address was brand new and for that they slapped on an extra 12o nicker

Dint get green lane cover though, that was wiff performance direct

I went through 4x4 off road insurance - Frank Pickles and my policy reduced with the more mods that went on - well worth a call but I think it helps to be a weekend toy rather than a daily driver... Mine is £167 inc green laning...

yeah... mines daily driver and i leave near one of the many not so nice parts of leeds..

think a change of postcode would save me a fortune...

my rr bobtail is with lancaster £299 fully comp with me and the mrs..greenlane and offroad cover and every single modification declared and agreed valuation

both my 90 and the disco are with Lancaster full comp and brake down cover, both fully modded with 2" lifts and bigger tyres.. light bars 3 winches £325 each landy
