insurance, dick turpin divs!!!

Dont know where to start with this one,been having a nightmare trying to obtain ins.

Ive got 2yrs no claims an 3 points,went on supermarket .com best price was 85 quid full comp, for the year from performance direct

they drove me mad kept ringing off the phone anyway when i spoke to 3 different jokers,they tried to take 50 quid from the account and had'nt even sorted out what model i had .

an then i got told they couldnt insure because i kept the landy in a locked garage in a low crime rate area!!!! WTF

Footman james would'nt insure because my series 3 81 landy was a 30yr old van and im self employed!!

flux direct could'nt even find my model as did most of the others i give up.

temp cover.com insured me in oct for 32 quid when i picked it up from oxford,two weeks ago they wanted 165! now they wont touch it cos its old.

when i do get qoutes its 900 0r over a grand an they keep saying its an 88 though mines a 109? an the only 109 they list is a station wagon mine dont exist cos its a 3 dr!!

After all this pantomime theres light at the end of the tunnel,hcvs the historic lorry boys have a scheme which is 70 quid full comp .

you have to be a member though an they know the difference between all landys,watch this space chaps

oh an im 17yrs older than me landy an old git with an old van

try Lancaster insurance i have both my disco and 90 with them. my mate has his s3 109 with them and pays about £200 year

ermmmm how many threads on here tell people where to look for cheap insurance and without hassle.... try the ones like lancaster, Frank Pickels.

Got the landy insured with lancaster for £127 full comp 3000 miles a year agreed value exrta £15 well happy .

Got the old girl taxed today an been riding about at last

Forgot to say lads went through comfused at first and the quote was a hundred pound more with lancaster so went direct through lancaster and it was £127 !!!.......

so it seems because i was lazy comfused.com was nicking hundred pound , the dick terpins , be warned lads .!!!
