Full size double bed in the back of the 101 :) Just as comfy as being at home. You also get a (very hot in places) heated floor courtesy of the transmission and exhaust. Very cosy in there :)

I got **** drunk one night and passed out on a bench outside.

Woke up a few hours later still drunk and covered in mosquitoes, so I stumbled over and climbed into the back seat of my disco and slept another 4 hours.

Wasn't too bad, better than most other vehicles I've slept in. :p

Since, also painted it with a green woodstain and left in the sun to dry, looks great! Decent sleeping mat we had in youngest sons old Army Cadet stuff and the caravan mat makes for a very comfy sleeping arrangement. Our lass is making some blackout blinds that should velcro up to the windows/roof .. ;)

Since I also took the dickie seats out of the boot it's even easier to strap down the sleeping tables, and provides reasonably secure storage for off-roading tackle which won't fly up and dent me crust in an accident .. hopefully!!

Hello everyone. Total newbie so I hope this is all OK. I think I have just about slept in every vehicle I have owned except my disco. I hope to remedy that :high5: and have a camping kit from a Landcruiser (can I mention that name here?) that I intend to modify and will set up a new thread and post pictures if anyone was interested?

That has got to be the most discussed incident on a laning trip.

How you all, including a young lady, slept all night in a disco. Brilliant.

Been sleeping in the 110 almost every night since I got her, on 2nd Sept. Before that I spent 8months sleeping in the Nissan Vanette. cheaper than paying for digs

I've got 5 & 1/2 pieces of chipboard T&G "Loft boards" from B&Q, spread across wheel boxes and the Cushions out of me pikey wagon for a bed. Lined roof and half the sides out of close cell foam rubber sheeting (bit like camping mat but thicker. LZ flag for a curtain at one end 1/2 a duvet cover at the other. end to keep the light out.
