I have just been given a brand new set of cooper discoverer stt's. The only thing is is that they are 33/12.50/16.5. I have fitted them to a set of 16 inch disco alloys and put them my 90 and it drives perfect. The tyre fitter said he would not of realised unless I had told him.

Has anybody herd of these or know of any problems I could have?

Im running 60mm spacers untill I come across a decent set of modulars. Bead lockers are a good idea. Scared to run a low psi as they are!

I know but I have no money, they where sitting in my garage and im very impatient! Im on the lookout for a used set even though a new set are only £250!

Oh and aswell as what you called me im also very tight!

hope you are joking them being 16.5 and who mounted them for you

A local tyre shop. They match up perfect and like i say, you would never know if it didnt have it written on the side. Beads match up perfect, have held air for around 200 miles with no problems. Only thing im worried about is dropping the pressure to use off road. Suppose there is only one way to find out.......

a very very very dodgy tyre fitter who is sending out motors that are dangerous:eek::mad:

Haha ive used them through a few light lanes and drove on the motorway a fair few times to work. They bead up perfect with no loss of air so i personally cant see a problem with road use. You lot are over reacting :D
