    Now that's Pricey!

Up until a couple of years ago Kenya was a magnet for any stolen motor you could think of. Nick it over here, stick it in a container, and bob was your uncle - cash would appear as if by magic at the other end. Then the authorities at both ends got wise, but the more determined oiks sent them...

Oil Leak NEED HELP TO IDENTIFY

Stick some clean cardboard under the car and that will show you where the leak is dripping from (not necessarily the source of it). Use that as a reference once the underside is clean

    Rear view mirror

Carefully prise off the plastic cover above the mirror, disconnect the wire and give the mirror a good yank downwards.

    Rear view mirror

The fluid inside the mirror that reacts to effect 'dimming' can leak out when the unit fails. While not toxic, it can be an irritant and will certainly mark the plastic on the dashboard if it drips onto it. You have two options, replace with another auto-dim unit that vary in price on...

Hoi ma boy, calm down. I notice your dream cars are a RR Sport and a Defender. I see you've done half the jobbie, so what's next for the P38, a defenders arse stuck on to complete the job. Take it down to Auchterarder and there's a guy who'll gladly do the job for you

Listen kids, you post on here for the grown-ups to read, you invite opinions - and you get them. Don't start having hissy-fits because they differ from your own. This is the point of a forum such as this, a step up from the Beano perhaps, but here we are free to debate, opine and offer and...

I'm going to change my profile name to Fiona Flexiknickers and see if I can't get pages and pages of help each time - well done Geoff ( erm - I mean Andrealouisea) told you it would work. Don't post the photos - that would blow us completely.

    Fuel tank pressure

Can someone explain how this whole EVAP/purge system works - my car (4.6 96my) does seem to have excessive pressure in the fuel tank - every fill up means I get a blow-back over clothing. I can't keep letting my wife fill up the car and get soaked with fuel (the price is ridiculous after all) so...
