sorry for delay in reply. air filter supplied by rover ron but cant remember which make the egr bypass was off ebay easy to fit.

fitted one to my manual td4, what a difference but had to fit egr bypass and performance air filter to stop it smoking rover rons advice after speaking to him. but it improved again so didnt mind the extra cash, i got 38 mpg towing a heavy caravan to southern italy and back so has also improved mpg.

recently done a 3500 mile round trip towing 1900 kg caravan td4 had a synergy 2 fitted and egr bypass fitted power was brilliant but the van made it sellf known with the weight of it the car got dragged about a lot when over taking wagons and when you over do it with speed van will do just what...

well we finally got here we finally got here 1732miles towing a 1300kg caravan loaded to the hilt as we are moving here.i kept all fuel reciepts and worked out mpg which came out at 32.9 well pleased with it thats at speeds between 50 and 60 mph and the doors never fell off

i'll be off to southern italy with me caravan 1300 kg and what ever gets loaded in it towing it with my 2000 td4 synergy 2 fitted, egr bypass,pierburgh maf and jetex air filter would be intresting to compare figures. i will post mpg mid september and before anybody asks yes i have got BREAKDOWN...

everthing else was fine just the dreaded red dash light normallly 10 to 20 miles in to my journey home some one should produce a kit to lift alternator dout its possible though, moving to southern italy in 3 weeks so water shoudnt be a problem i hope

watch your alternator ive done 2 in with very shallow water and one with an engine steam clean, worried about driving in the rain now. put your wellies on and walk the water then drive round it

hi just put a synergy 2 on my 2000 td4 and collected a 1300kg caravan it towed no problem had to watch my speed all the time will be doing egr mod next as it can be a bit smokey but definetlty rover rons box has improved performance

Did 1275GT s have catalytic converter or did yer mean free flow silencer

thinking of swapping my td4 hippo for a discovery feel free to take to the piste you need a sense of humour to run a freelander.but any serious advice on which disco v8 lpg or td5 would be welome wan t a v8 but wife says td 5

freelanders are adjustable front and back you need a four wheel alignment places like ats kwik fit say they can do it but i suspect it wont be right . google 4 wheel alignment there are loads of specialist about, i used to charge 40 quid for a check and ten per adjustment

Does it work the electronic cleaner i take it you tried it did it give good results.i think mines on its way out and could do with a cheap fix even if only short term

There,s a small philips screw at the top of the housing a bit awkward to see unscrew that unclip the pipes then should all lift out

mines the same when on morrisons finest but is alot better with shell still a bit sluggish though until it starts warming up would be intresting to hear if it is a fault or crap diesel

Really it made me look a tw!! today but i would like to keep it just need to sought out lazy tc when it does work it peforms very well

Cant afforrd a decent levered model but might stretch to a bmw. shoud i say that on here

Got embarrasingly stuck today whilst turning round in a slight up hill frozen feild gate way no sign of any tc light then after getting out and driving another 10 mins or so on snowy icy roads the tc light was on and off all the time this also happend a couple of weeks ago almost getting stuck...
