There,s a small philips screw at the top of the housing a bit awkward to see unscrew that unclip the pipes then should all lift out

Is this the model with the filter on the left of the engine bay or the later one with filter at the RH rear wheel arch?
Engine bay then soak in diesel then knock out.
Wheelarch dismantle plastic mounting as much as possible relaese clip and knock out old filter.

If its a later filter being in the rear wheel arch, then get someone to hold the plastic cover and use a large screwdriver and hammer and gently persuade out, be careful not to puncture the filter.

struggling with the fuel pipe conected to the pump under neath its mounted under the bonnet passager side under ecm box cheers everyone going to try again saturday keep you posted

Ming the mercilless previously posted on this ages ago. soak the filter in penetrating oil/wd 40 to persuade the filter to separate from the housing. Coat the new filter in grease to make the job easier in furure.D..

Had the same problem last week whilst changing mine. Used a large screwdriver between the top of the plastic housing and the underside of the old filter and gave it a twist. Move round the housing to even up the lift. This moved it up about 10mm. I then put the screwdriver sideways into the this gap and gently levered. It is the tension of the earth strap spring that seems to make the filter difficult to remove. Be careful not to loose the earth strap ( as I did) as it is under tension between the filter and the plastic cover!
Hope this helps,
Eric
