I have 265 - 75 MT on mine and had to chop a lot of the body work. I chopped one lot, went off road and bent the back end up when the vehicle was under stress!! So had to go back and chop loads more off!!

My stop solenoid is just in front of the injector pump. Just one white (ish) wire going to it.

My Disco did the same this morning. I thought it was the battery. Re charged and still nothing. This time it turned over but nothing else. Found out that the wire had come off the stop solenoid. You never know?

Hi, thebiglad, that makes a lot of sense. Its a 94 manual 300tdi, but, I am running 265- 75-R16's. How would I adjust my readings to find out the true reading? Now thats beyond my mind!! Thanks, Jon

Also, don't put any solid into the air intake of any engine. They too are best left on the shelf!!

I'm in the process of replacing filters etc to try and find why my disco runs like a dog. When my wifes car was serviced they replaced the fuel filter and filled with injector cleaning fluid to blast that through first. Has anyone had experience of doing this and is it worth while?

OK...So I have insa turbos, 2" lift and light bar, but on my last calculation I got 345 miles to the tank!!!!! I don't go fast, honest, and recently cleaned out the sedimentor (it wasn't too dirty) Is there anything else I should do? Clean the injectors? and whats the best way of doing that...
