Great shots!

Here's my little helper from last year when he was around a year and a half. He is now regularily to be found on his back under his bed 'fixing his jeep'. I've had to take to using one of those magnetic trays for screws and stuff as if I turn my back for a minute there will be bolts shoved into the nearest available opening, I actually had a close one a while back when he had shoved a bolt in between the spokes of the alloy wheels and the brake caliper on the wifes car:eek: could have been expensive if I hadn't spotted it

he looks like he knows wot hes doing-unlike me!

The wife nearly killed me when she saw the photo's, " very cute Cormac but who the hell was minding him while you went off to get the camera" :)

Anyway we'll do our best to keep the RR love affair going through to the next generation!

tell the wife to remember, its all a learing curve!!! and landrovers dont run for long enough to do any lasting damage, even to a child!!!!

i cant wait to teach mine to drive, i started driving around 11 so i'm hoping to get her started around 8 ish!!

:D

Too bloody right!!
I had a 'mysterious' water leak on the P38 on Friday. I had just been congratualting myself on how reliable  its been for the last year, should have known better!
Anyway traced the 'leak' to the aircon drain plug so no worries.
I had it up on ramps and had powerwashed it to aid finding the leak and while underneath noticed a small weep of transmission oil. Now I've just been through a trans oil leak saga with the RRC where, having replaced/bodged various bits, it turned out that an aluminium washer on the oil pump had corroded right through.
So I said f**k, here we go again:( I saw that the weep was coming from around the transmission oil dipstick tube (which on a seperate but related note the dipstick handle had cut into a fuel pipe up by the fuel filter). So I got out my spanner to take it off and with minimum pressure the whole thing snapped off followed by several litres of tran oil down on the drive. What a mess.

I must take the sump of tonight and see if I can get the pipe welded back on again. So the P38 is up on ramps in front of the house and I'm driving the 80 miles daily to work in the RRC at approx 14mpg:doh:.

At least I'll have help fixing it I suppose :D

hi gav just love the new seats you putting in j

you like em?? or are you taking ****???

they are ****ty brown, i wanted cream/lightstone interior but i got other things to fix first!!!

they were manual but i managed to get some grey leather electrics and change the leather covering over!! still got to do passenger seat. it takes me about a day to do a seat but i always get waylayed so if you were doing it as a 'job' it'd prolly take 3 hours max!! its not hard just fiddly!:D
