Put it this way, if it wasn't for joining this forum I could be dead..my kids could be .. or someone else ,due to an accident my LR caused. I cannot express how grateful I am for the help I have received so far and know if needed the support is there. It is comforting to know that I am not dealing with this situation alone.
Might sound dramatic but Dave was/is dangerous and I simply didn't know. I joined this forum to find out how to look after him and it could have quite literally saved my/my families life-that's motivation to sort this out and stop the people who sold him to me doing it to someone else too!

it was put together by a fool, but is something ive seen often unfortunately , i hope you get what you want ,but vehicle is very repairable to a good standard,so think it will be ok in the end
 
I am shocked to see how bad Dave is and equally amazed how generous LZ is with help and advice. Hope you get a good outcome legally and I am sure that Dave will get fixed up properly.

A full written report, including all the faults would help your case ... especially if it is from an independent source.

With the photographic evidence available, I am sure that someone on here would be able to help with that. If not, could you mail me everything you have and I will prepare one for you, if that would be any help.
 
jeez, that's more than a bit ropey! hadn't seen this til this morning.

It must have driven awful with the ball joints,mfront prop and lack of bushes. Sarah good luck and get the god awful dealer/seller to pay for repairs. Ball joint failing or the radius arm bush being pushed back (Lack of washer) could have been fatal.
 
Christ that's bad.

A word of warning though, don't expect too much from trading standards. When I got ripped off by a Mazda dealer all they said was 'can you let us know how you get on'.

Oh, and if you go to the dealership be careful, I ended up getting arrested (but that's another story)

I reckon laminate some of the pictures. .park dave up just by the garage and hand out flyers to all potential customers. ....lets see how quick they deal with you now

Very good point nout stops us camping out and showing them what we think and in the barging distorting this business 10/20 vehicles parked up outside that would **** them off
Watch how quick they fix the car then
