Only consolation is nobody was injured.

Trading standards did not call back and as I had to go to work I couldn't call them, looks like I will now have to wait till Monday.

First time I've read this thread and yes, a disgrace!!

It just goes to show that Land Rovers have a heart and soul, and maybe one or two have God watching over them - Dave did his best not to kill his passengers and gave you a warning sign so you could attend to him... then go back and hire a CAT D9 to bulldoze the scum who sold him in such a condition.

That's what I said to Sarah last night, some cars look after you and some don't. My old Defender broke, but never let me down or got recovered even after 250,000 miles. My Disco rode on the back of Green Flag trucks for fun.

So once Dave is fixed she will have a good one, she needs something positive to think about at the moment

No idea

It was red and an N reg, top of the range model I believe, auto, two sunroof, lots and lots of electrical toys to go wrong

I really really HATED it, but then I got bullied into replacing my lovely old Defender with it.

No idea why I kept it for so many years, just lazy I guess. Happiest day ever when I got rid of it and got Matty Green Flag must be more profitable too

Jeez. That is some of the worst I've seen!!!! This business should not exist.

I haven't dared drive Dave today tbh..last night I was scared driving home too despite all the amazing work Neil and Dean did...I just want him right and yes he looked after me and my family. AND despite all his faults he still sounds sexy as ...... lol!
Roll on Monday morning as I will finally be able to do something , as long as trading standards are available to talk. Watch this space!

Believe me when I realised how bad things were last night I wanted to go drive over the bastids...problem is my wheels would have probably dropped off !!!!

Yep, we had to hide the big hammers in case she hit one of us

I found these that I took on my phone instead of someone elses One is the track rod end, no idea why someone wanted the other two but here they are.

That is truly awful workmanship. Hope you get it sorted, keen to see how it unfolds, best of luck to you.
