UK I'm on my way

And so the countdown begins. Sorted the Defender out. Tomorrow checking camping gear (during the boring bits on the telly).
I have the most ridiculous amount of places I'd like to go to while in the UK ranging from Sutherland, Somerset and Norfolk. Even more ridiculous is my plan to spend next weekend with my Italian Landy mates on my way to Switzerland.
The only depressing part is that I'll be leaving all the dogs at home.
Was hoping to do some 4x4ing in the UK but I'll be coming over on road tyres.
Wish it were Friday. This week is going to last forever...

Put a couple of posts up when you're here and someone might take you round 'nice' greenlanes. We've got a few near us that are perfect for beginners, gaylanders, road tyres, whatever .. I love 'em 'cos they're good for checking stuff's working OK, but I have to travel quite a bit further for gnarly stuff!

OK Paul D, shall take you up on that. Ages since I've been to Donnie and it's on the way to Sutherland.
BTW my landy is 100% original, no winch. I don't usually get stuck but that's probably due to being testoterone-free and having a brain.

Should be in UK on Monday arvo. Am going to an Italian Landy rave on Saturday. Mr. Fern will be at the italian Jeepers meeting (am I glad to have got out of going there this year), and yes, Mr Fern drives one of them Septic things
