Series 3 - Door Tops... Dims to aperture for Slide Lock

Hi All

My 1st intro to 'LandyZone'...... Hopefully this thread will be fruitful...!

Maybe, this info in out there..! - Any assistance, looking for the Dimensions to cut the aperture to ft the 'Slide Window Lock' into the Door Tops. Don't have original old Tops... had been binned my mistake, although glass was retained by the previous owner and now have new blank Door Tops en fixing kit to assemble - No info to any Land Rover books. Any info most welcomed. Skip70

Thank you.... a bit of stab in the dark in searching for those technical info detail on fitting the off parts to a Series 3. Not a lot of info the Workshop Manual - seems rather scattered within, a bit of guest work needed on many odd things.
Having taken up Rebuilding a 1983 S-3 - SWB; number of Tub panels replaced with new, old panels 'bead blasted', new doors all-round, including a new Galv' Bulkhead, not the best of makes (from TT - if you get my drift...!) - hell of a lot of jiggling to do, bad design on the Windscreen mount, original fixing would not fit at all.... but engineered a solution.
Resprayed in Cell'y with Acrylic clearcoat on outer shell, seems to work well. picys to follow.
