Hello guys,
New to the forum here and really nice to meet everyone one of you!
I am currently looking to purchase a 2016 RR sport SDV6 with 45,000miles. I have been skeptical on making my final move as I cannot stop analyzing the engine bearing issues, (resulting in full engine replacement) that could possibly occur. Do you know if this affects specific models years (i.e only 2015)?
Would really need your input and advice on the matter! Thank you for your time,
Anastasis

I think it is any 3.0 v6, from 2010 to current.
You might find it is crank failures rather than bearing failure.
It has gone quiet on some of the forums ref 3.0 engine failures, but I reckon that may be because the owners have realised if they keep bitching about it the cars values will be dented?

Ps welcom to the forum, always worth posting a hello in the Introduce yourself section.

Yes, all TDV6 engine are affected as said.
There have been many thousands of D3,4 and 5s with failed cranks.
If you are looking at a 2016 RRS, then it would be a safer bet to spend a bit more and go for the petrol engine version instead, as it's more reliable, and not much more thirsty in the real world. ;)
