Well done saint, I was down at Adams the other day fixing heated seats and having a look around the project cars can't wait to get into the loom n get it sorted and then see the engine dropped in.

"Its almost their" Adams words not mine lol

Cracking Ant.. that what i was aiming for.. i guess i'll have to get polishing the S/Steel manifolds

Lets, just take a second to reflect on where this was when Ant started..

in all its glory.. unknown entity. seized, not run for at least 10 years.. one plug broken off in the head, one plug seized in..

And yes dave (thanks for your work on the seats).. it is almost there in comparison to what I started with. it's literally been taken apart. so the engine back in, brake lines and brakes, electrics back together (you'll have fun there), paint and interior, wheel bearings.. then wheels for refurb and take it for a spin on the farm before an MOT.!

However, this time next week, i'll be in the middle east starting the new job so it'll be a go slow !

Adam gave me two different rocker covers, the originals and these two with 'ROVER' stamped on and the lack of extended filler spout which have cleaned up much better than the others.....which have got a duller. less shiny appearance.

Just got the carbs and sump to clean up and also a couple of housings and then it is time to put it all back together again.

the extended filler tube should unscrew and fit onto your new cover

It's looking fantastic, any idea how many hours you will have spent on it by the time it's together fitted and running, must really be a labour of love for you and Adam

Turned to the Carb barrels next.....

One Clean and oiled, the other not!!....can you guess which one is which :D
