LZ rescue needed near Telford

On the m54 bound telford way for Wales and home. Started loosing power, switched back to diesel from veg oil but she stalled and can't get her restarted. System has flushed so back on diesel, oil levels and water are fine. I'm about to try and syphon some diesel into a new fuel filter and see if that works. About 7 miles from telford.
Just went to syphon from my diesel and its bloody empty! So going to try and restart on veg!

Anyone local?

Nope. Read it again... Lost power on Veg. Switched to doizil, but no doizil. Not quite the same.

Anyway wot diff does it make? He needs help.

Lol, I've id just run out of diesel I'd be keeping my mouth shut and walking to the services! But im convinced its about fuel delivery? I'm 2 miles from the services, slowly pushing myself closer. It's an auto which doesnt help! If i can get some diesel, change the filter and restart I'll be laughing.

have i read it wrong

what motor does he have ? 200/300 will run on 100% veg oil once warm so maybe theres another underlying problem

300tdi - sounds to me like a blocked filter, but it could be the sedimenter or both .

glad i just run veg/doozil in one tank..if filter clogs i carry 2 spares with me just in case..

Storm's not around at the moment but may be able to help this afternoon if it's not sorted by then.

can u not get enuff dozzil out of your tank just to refill the filter and refit so it starts on pure doozil?

dont envy u being in an auto..hope its not raining where u are and u get it sorted

I've just had my delivery so I'm free now. Spoken to mac and he is talking to the Motorway wombles.
I'm happy to go out to him and he is calling me back.

The wombles are dragging him to the Services so will be on standby to assist.

I'm car less at the minute so unable to help.
