Doesn't help does it? It's a big lump of machinery, they go wrong. If they didn't you wouldn't have a job.
I'm only annoyed that this is one job that's a bit big for me (at my age) on the driveway so if I'm going to pay for it I might as well get it done properly, so it's a trip to Ashcrofts.

No, last Friday as in 3 days ago. Layshaft let go, noo box and clutch fitted over the weekend with Pikeys help

It's jumped out of 1st since I fitted it 18 months ago
Probably didn't help much though.Was only a couple of miles from home but annoyingly at the bottom of the steepest valley for miles.....still had 4th but no hope of driving out even in low box
