Pikeys on his way back to Stroud towing his shed....I mean caravan with his shed.....I mean 110.

Sounds like his front diff pinion bearing is about to let go so he's taking the front prop of atm. If it's not the cure he has recovery but might be easier to get the sh....sorry caravan towed.

I can do it unless anyone fancies doing a relay. He's just south of Shepton Mallet.

I'll post up news as I get it
 
I start work again at 6am so don't really want to go all up to Stroud unless I really have to but can take it up to M4 J18 if you fancy a relay session. I may need to bodge the trailer wiring on my 110 as I think I have a sidelight wire rubbed through or broken on my trailer socket.
 
Is he all right for tools etc?
I'm just off the A37 in Bristol, I haven't got a tow hook but can supply any tools or a large flask etc. Or a parking slot and bed for the night if it comes to that.

He's got everything he needs to drop his prop but if he's stuck for a while refreshment might be appreciated. Don't take any tools though you'll never get 'em back :p
 
UPDATE....

Front prop off and he's got as far as midsomherer norton. Says it's still clanking horribly under load at anything over 30.

He's stopped to have another shufty underneath but is minded to limp on
 
The muppet.....tis the rear prop.....so he's now gonna put the front back on and take the rear off :rolleyes:

He's just up the road from you Rats if ya wanna go take the **** :p

He has removed the drive flange`s aswell as the prop hasnt he. Stupid question but you never know
