Nothin wrong with the defender, I just don't particularly want to run it this winter. the snow here is deep as and it gets cold as f**k. with the suspension lift and lack of abs, stopping it is a bitch. + i don't want to wreck it.

I have owned a RR classic, and I presently own 3 Jeeps (2 Cherokees)
The cherokees don't seem to break as often with niggly little faults, they are quite easy to work on yourself. and they look a lot better than the RR when they are lifted with big tyres. lockers and off road bits are more plentiful and cheaper.

But..... The RR is classier, the inside is roomier and more comfortable. And it's the vehicle to own if you are British Abroad.
My bloody kids cried when I sold the RR.
Anyway, I've just bought a Disco, so I'm with the RR.

Yeah I know the jeeps can look cool with all the off road kit added but thats not what i want it for. I am already halfway through kitting out my defender. i just want a decent size vehicle for winter. mostly for going skiing really. I also have an Audi A5, but I really want a decent 4x4 I can muck about in the snow with
