ok. i have now a limited choice and a short time to decide on my new winter vehicle. I have to choose between a 1993 3.9l V8 range rover classic with all th bells and whistles and a 1995 5.2l V8 (sounds like thunder) jeep cheokee similarly equiped, although the range has air suspension and the jeep spring, both nice enough and the same price. I am currently living in Austria so my choice of British steel is limited and the snow is just around the corner. WHICH ONE DO I GO FOR?

actually the only thing thing that swayed me towards the yank tank was the supeeeerb noise it made on starting. other that that; i recon it will drink more than George Best on a good day and cost me the earth, probably the actual earth when thinking of carbon foot prints. + the RR has kind of a classic charm about it. hmmmm thats a bit homo

Ha I never thought of that! Cheers Red, I will have a look. Actually F**k it. Stick to what you know ey? bollox to the yanks. Buy British.
