Can Range Rover section be split

Just an attempt to get this thread back on track. 10% of threads do not get a response in the Rangie section. Only between 60 and 70 people look at any thread out of a membership claimed to be 62,000. The average number of replies to a thread is 7, with 182 views (includes multiple views by one person).
So if only 0.1% of members are looking at any particular thread and 10% of people seeking answers do not get them, how can you claim that the system is working fine.

You claim that it is the biggest forums in the UK and I have no doubt that this is true. This was the basis of my suggestion as there are too many posts in 1 day to go through them all to see if you can help the person. The statistics show that this is true with so many threads not getting a response.

I do not claim to know much about P38's, L322's, D3 or D4's. But I have had 6 Range Rover Classics (currently own 2), one d1 (currently wife's car) and 5 Series Land Rovers. I have been driving them since a series 2a was the current model and been modifying them for a couple of decades (you can see a few trips if you search my user id on youtube). I have done a lot of things that do not work and like helping people avoid making the same costly mistakes. Sometimes the discussions get me to look at things in a different light and are useful to me, but I am not the one asking/or looking for the answers to questions.

So if you want to help those 10% plus of members that are not currently getting it, or you wish to get the other 99.9% of members involved with the forum, maybe you can make it easier for members to navigate to areas of interest/expertise.

Out of curiosity what engine does your Rangie have in it?

For what it's worth I cant see any point in splitting the forum up further.
If you follow your argument to it's logical conclusion you would have a seperate section for every different vehicle type, engine, year and fecking colour. :D

:nothingtoadd:

Why don't all the snobbish, stuck up rangie owners tell their butlers to put what model of rangie they are posting about in the post title?
For example:- " '93 4.6 classic in Aus has a nobber for an owner"
Then when you look at the rangie section you can see which posts to get your butler to answer. Simple and no need to change the way the forum works.

5 members want a change and 5 members don't as far as I can see on this thread.

Butterfingers.

We don't need to, but you obviously do:kettlepot:

You're like a dog to it's own vomit.
You obviously love it in the gutters. I think it is great how someone just accepts their environment and does not bitch about how hard the world has been to them, how someone should give them a job, etc. Good on you.

Come on, show us your tits. I reckon that they are a lot bigger than the average female.

You're a real bundle of laughs, do you know that? If you actually read my post properly you will see i was broadly agreeing with you whilst pointing out the difficultys in adopting the idea.

Since then you've moaned and bitched and insulted everyone. If its so bloody crap here then find an Aussie forum.

The 93 Rangie has a 4.6. The 98 Disco has a 4.6. The 76 Rangie ute has a 3.9.

The reason I asked is because if you look in the engine sections there are a couple of em which are hardly ever used . Splitting down the rangie section I rekon would do hte same. You'd have a couple of sections (p38 and classic) that are in constant use but sport and l322 would get very few posts/threads.
