Cobbler, you are correct. The forum could be improved. It is not perfect, but surely the forum should represent the majority of it's members, just not one or two?

If yu don't like it, that is fine. You have every right to suggest improvements and try and get the support of other likeminded peeps. However, at the risk of repeating myself, you are going about it the wrong way and alienating anyone who might agree with your ideas.

Either reconsider your approach or be prepared to be called an arsewipe and told to feck off.

Maybe you should learn to read. All the initial responses from other members were supportive of the change. You are the only one that has attempted to argue that it is not. So maybe it is you that shows contempt for the 62,000 members.

I have seen your posts on a number of threads and it appears that you just attempt to be the class clown. Might be appropriate in some threads, but I attempted to start a serious thread and improvements to the site.

My biggest complaint is not with you, it is with the operators of the site. They set up a forum section so that members can put up suggestions or complaints about the site and then treat such posts with contempt by not even bothering to reply.

In regards to child like posts, I will put the content of mine up against yours any time.

Finally, with 62,000 members there is an large amount of experience here that can help others. However, all this is wasted if it cannot be put in a format that those needing help can use.

I suggest you read my post again, it was generally supportive but highlighted the problems...a balanced opinion.

Class clown, maybe, i have what i hope many consider a good sense of humour and wit, but if you dig a bit deeper you will also find i give advice...maybe good, maybe bad..but its in good faith.

The owners of this site do not run it for profit, they, and especially the mods spend a great deal of time here and do not receive payment. I and many others pay to use the site.

I'm sorry that you dont find it to your taste, maybe you should try one of the other forums that you think are superior.

Me, i'm staying right here because in my opinion theres no better place to be...i have been helped a lot, people have given up their time to repair my 90 when i needed acute help, their familys have welcomed me, made a bed for me in their homes, fed me..and not once asked for payment.

Yes, i'm a clown, but this is the best circus in the world for landy owners.

62,000 members. Of responses to this thread 6 agree, 1 disagrees (you). Apply this sample across the population of the forum and 53,000 agree and 9,000 disagree.

A sensible explanation?? Using the differences between 90's 110's and 130's to explain why D4's and D1's or Classics and L322's and the same and should stay in the same sections.

Why don't you run a pole and see how many members support your view that a classic is the same as a L322. You know that the odds will go a lot higher against your views.
