    What have you done to your Landie today.

    Replaced both rear brake discs, both front cailipers, pads all round, changed tranny oil front & back. Found anti roll bar mounting had come away so replaced that, found fuel filler pipe was starting to split so replaced that......oh and a new set of wiper blades! Ready for the winter now...

    Changing hi to low and back.

    Mine too, I don't think the previous owner used it. I now make a point of using it every few days (in a straight line) just to keep the linkage nice and free for when I do need it. If you don't use it, it'll stop working......and that's what I tell the wife ;)

    cheers for that early response, now how do I get the geared mech back into position, it isn't covered and it simply fell off whilst I was loosening the motor so didn't get a chance to see how it fitted.
