Please help, I have obtained a replacement motor for my front passenger door, removed door card etc. however I can't work out how to swap them over? I'm guessing the three screws are reached by having the glass all the way up, but how do I remove the mech? I've searched this site and just keep finding the ECU problem fix?

An early response would be very welcome as it's in bits:Cry:

cheers for that early response, now how do I get the geared mech back into position, it isn't covered and it simply fell off whilst I was loosening the motor so didn't get a chance to see how it fitted.

Been a long time since I did this job but I replaced the window regulator at the same time so had no issue's with the gear cog coming off. If you can get access it should slide back onto it's rod then re-fit motor. Failing that you may have to remove the regulator to re-fit. (Pages 847 & 670 of the workshop manual ;))
