    Wind Screen Wipers problem!

It's almost certainly a failed park switch. Very easy to replace, and inexpensive.

    Defender wiper sweep

The nut is to adjust the brush position on the commutator, nothing to do with sweep. AFAIK there is no way to adjust the sweep, it's controlled by the gearing. I wish mine had more sweep, unless the window is dripping wet mine only move from vertical to about 10:00...

How to hand paint a landy(with pictures)

I tried the mini rollers, starting on the roof, and it didn't work well for me, it was creating a lot of bubbles. I switched to brush on the sides, and, well... that didn't work well either. I discovered too late that the Tekaloid paint I used really does need some thinning, despite advice to...

    Jap 4x4s Vs Defenders

X5, Merc ML and Cayenne are not off roaders. They are bloated hatchbacks with all wheel drive. They exist only because the supply of people with more money than brains is, apparently, endless.

    Land Rover IIa dash

Note OP is in the middle east. SII's might be a bit thin on the ground there. OP, maybe post on the series forums, someone may be better able to help you.

    Jap 4x4s Vs Defenders

If I could do that, I would offer up Saturday's lottery numbers for the hat trick... :D

    Jap 4x4s Vs Defenders

Weighing in from the Yank perspective -- aw quiet down, I haven't said anything bad yet!... :p I owned a few Jap and US trucks over the years. They all seemed competent and reliable enough. I used a Mitsu Pajero (badged as a Dodge Raider in the US) as a daily driver and off road toy for...

    Plus gas, GT85, WD40 - which one?

Ah, didn't think of the gun connection. I forget that long guns are legal here.

    Plus gas, GT85, WD40 - which one?

Kroil and PB Blaster are my favorites, and I can't seem to find either in the UK. Might have to request a care package from home...

    Bonnet Lock confusion

Can you take it out of the panel? The you could soak it in some derv or light oil to free it up.

    The Ultimate Defender?

Looks a bit like this one that was parked outside the LR Experience in Solihull.

    Terriferma, arb, mantec???

In my experience ARB bumpers do not have a great reputation in the US. Strength is not really there for recovery, and they seem to get damaged easily. I think they can be beat for less money. Look at Rovertym or Rock Ware.

    steel wheels pics

Might be a cultural thing, but I regard my 110 as a truck. Body on frame construction and solid axles, and a GVWR over 6000 lbs. And it's on black modulars, but I want to swap to Wolf's.

    100 inch defender

What people are trying to tell you is, 100" is not a standard. 90 inch and 110 inch are the standards, if you want a 100" you need to cut down a 110.

Agreed, just did two in a leisurely afternoon.

    Arghh...Stoooooopid Handbrake!

I have a couple of good used brakes if you need one -- one with the cable that goes straight in and one with the lever. I'm just north of Leicester, could meet you somewhere in between if it helps.

    Diff Guards

If your 110 has a Salisbury rear axle the semi-circular clamp on type don't fit the back.

    V-Power

Chances are it has extra cleaning agents. Run a tank every few months, or just dump in a bottle of fuel system cleaner for the same effect. The VPower is probably the cheaper alternative for that use.

    Anyone used POR15 paint?

Seriously, save your money and just coat it with Hammerite. POR-15 is overkill for the job, and it really needs a top coat to protect it from weather.
