helllo ther peeps wots the man hours on doing the front swivel on def 90 got the tools just havent done 1 befor all info welcome cheers the gyp

Took me the best part of a day to do one side.
The CV joint was rusted on to the drive member, so had to cut and hammer off.
The needle bearings fell all over the place.

The caliper bolts were all chewed had to keep hammering on smaller sockets and eventually managed to loosen them.

The 12 sided bolts were feecked couldnt get a spanner on them and they were really tight, had to resort to a hammer and chisel to get most of them out. For a few i had to tack on a bit of bar and use as a lever to crack them.

To replace the swivel bearings and all of the other bits and pieces is an easy job. Did the other side in about an hour

thanks for all the replys done it easy front end in bad way just finished the box now im on all the trackends ands that now so i need some info on tracking eny body out ther like to help me :)

To set the tracking measure the distance from the wheel to the other wheel just above the track rod then measure 180 degrees around from this.
The track rod should either be the same or up to 3mm greater. this will give you the correct "toe" setting.

I find it easier to hold a bolt on one side about 50mm long and measure to the bolt easier than trying to bend the tape measure around to read it so more accurate
