For a 93 200tdi immobiliser/alarm, does the haynes manual cover this ?, I'll go and get one if it does. Had to bypass mine but got no central locking, which is a pain, yer need long arms :D .

Is there a quick way to disable a 200tdi alarm/imobiliser, door was froze and set it off, now it won't reset, no fob , just key. I know how to get it going with a few wires but is there a way to bypass it, in a bit of a rush.

200tdi was running fine, but now developed diesel knock on light or trailing throttle, was told it had a belt 20.000 mile ago, did wonder if the belt had gone slack, but not sure if this would advance or retard it. Any thoughts ?
