Got some disco rims that have been sand blasted, has anyone used U-POL etch primer in the spray cans ?, seems expensive but if it does the job....

I used it on my bonnet and wing top chequerplate when I decided to paint it black. It's still looking pretty good really despite driving down scratchy lanes, standing on it and jet washing it.
