A couple of weeks ago I went to get a set of sahara's, but came home with kumho kl's, they were new and cheaper , the last few days we've had alot of rain here so last night went to try them in a field that's had maize in , well cut up with lots of clay.

To be honest I did'nt like the look of the kl's, not sure why, but in the clay they are one of the best tyres i've had, much better than the stt's I had before, they don't seem to clog as bad and pull out of ruts well, on the road their better than most at's, but i think this has been achieved by using a very soft compound so I don't think there's much milage in them  .

Are many people on here using them ?

I'm using them...Drove to Portugal and back last year on them and am doing the same again this year. I have had no problems with them apart from them not liking to escape deep ruts. Seem to be wearing ok.

I thought they came out the ruts well, maybe it's cos their noo :D:D .

What pressure are you running them at ? .

i use the other kl'sthe kl78 road venture ats , excellent mileage out of them and good enough for green lanes , i don't do any mudplugging so no need for anything else , £55 each , if i was richer i'd have general at2s

I think it was just one set of ruts...when we were rescuing Nelly. They didn't like reversing through that deep terracota either:D:D

mine didnt like gettin out of the ruts there either, took a bit for me to get out and im running more aggressive tyres then the kumho!

from what i have seen they are pretty good, boogers been running them as well but he was disappointed in their off road performance - ultimately he was expecting em to perform like my baja claws and other peoples insa turbo's etc. they are a good mud tyre, but they are just that, and not more. good 50 / 50 tyre i would imagine!
