you dont need to remove the ACE ECU but you need the settings changed in the BCU

agree^^^^^^^ tdi head gaskets are one of the easyest to do if you have never done one before its a good first time but td5 there is a little more to it tdi head bolts CAN be used 3 times but change them any way td5 should be changed every time

removing the ace causes no problems as long as the antirool bars are replaced with non ace type but as said above there are no 7 seaters that left the factory with coil suspension BUT land rover do sell coil springs for 7 seaters so i see no problems in fitting them if it could or should not be...

206,000 on the works 300tdi has had a new turbo at around 120,000 and a new head at around 190,000 but that was because of the P gasket over heated and cracked the head it gets used and abused but still going strong
