Hi
headgasket gone, just wondered if there are any tips,
or must do,s or donts, spoke to dealer and said would need to replace certain bolts and bits ?.

My best advice is.........................

Let a mechanic do it.

Is there any online guides (with pictures) to do a head gasket replacement.

Hardest part would be taking off the exhaust manifold and trying no to shear any bolts.

Have the rave cd but pictures would help.

tdi head gaskets are one of the easyest to do if you have never done one before its a good first time but td5 there is a little more to it
tdi head bolts CAN be used 3 times but change them any way
td5 should be changed every time
