I've bought a rad today that's identical to the one on my 300tdi in every way apart from. On the one on the car, the oil cooler pipes slot into an outward sticking thread with a bolt to hold them on and on the one I've bought there's no outward thread but an inward one. Is it a 300tdi rad...

Can't get the bottom oil cooler pipe off the radiator without breaking it :mad: If I turn the bolt the pipe starts to turn with it and is starting to pinch. Do you have any fail proof methods with this or is it just a cut it off and buy more case? 300tdi by the way

Is a seat belt clasp affected if the plastic surround is missing? Would this be an MOT failure?

Will it pass an MOT if I fit one of these de-cat pipe jobbies? I'm hoping it will give it a bit more oomph too? The exhaust is sounding a bit louder around that area, could it be that it is a bit tatered?

Would it be fine to use a 2t trolley jack on the disco for removing a wheel? Would you trust it?

When I get up to about 60-70mph I get the above type noise occuring. I keep telling myself that it's probably just the grill vibrating with the wind as it is slightly wobbly, but could it be something a little more nasty?

I'm ordering some bits and don't know wether I need brake pads with or without the sensor bit for my 96 300tdi. Does it make a difference if I order them without the sensors? Anyone know where there is a guide to fitting driver door window mechanism jobby? Cheers

Are the TD5's any better than the 2/300tdi's? Do they rust as badly as the tdi's? Are they as temperamental? Quicker? What are TD5 common faults, anything different than older models or most of the same and a bit of new stuff to?

Looking for a new battery for this 300tdi of mine currently. Best I have found online so far is a 72AH with 660CCA. Is this a decent enough number of CCA or should I be looking for bigger numbers? Oh and also has anyone got some close to biggest possible battery size measurements...

Our 300tdi is playing silly games when starting or should I say not starting :mad: It starts fine on normal days. But whenever it's cold as in the last few weeks it doesn't take much turning over to not start and drain the battery. The battery is a fairly new one (within 6 months)...

300tdi radiator lying around waiting for cash to fill it's place? Had a look at mine earlier and spotted 2 leaks, major rot and quite a lack of fins. :eek: No wonder it's been losing coolant lately :doh:

Ok then, under the dash (in a 300tdi) literally below the fusebox door thing and just to the left side is a plug type socket/joint thing. Nowt is plugged into it and I just wondered if something should be or even what it could be for?
