Also check that there is no brake fluid in the float in the cap as that will keep making the light flash
-
Just another thought check the exhaust manifold to see if any of the studs are loose or missing because they can snap the front 2 studs and the exhaust manifold gasket is a steel sheet and that can cause a vibration noise off load.

check the heat sheild around the transfer box rubber mounting that can start to break up and rattle and cause a vibration that sounds like it is something worse.I did have the same noise and that cured it.

You might need to have the option switched on in the BCU control unit so then it will allow power to the seats so in other words it need to go on a LR diagnostic pc.It is like most options if it is not fitted at the factory it is not enabled in the BCU options list.

have you checked any of the engine bay wiring loom it sometimes can rub and cause a air flow meter fault ,check around the aircon pump area and also check the red connector on the engine ECU in the battery box, if there is any oil in there then it could be the injector loom causing a fault...

the temp sensor is on the drivers side of the oil cooler below the intercooler justs disconect the plug as the sensor could be faulty and td5 do not have dipsticks just get underneth and the level plug is on the front of the sump and it needs to be checked with engine running in park.

You can only check the auto box oil with the engine running and in park.Ref the no gears prob check the wiring for the air flow meter near the air con pump to see if it has chaffed through it can cause a faulty reading to the ecu which talks to the auto box ecu.
