You might need to have the option switched on in the BCU control unit so then it will allow power to the seats so in other words it need to go on a LR diagnostic pc.It is like most options if it is not fitted at the factory it is not enabled in the BCU options list.

Thats 100% correct,I have just done the same to my D2v8 and the BCU needs telling it now has electric seats not manual,the heaters should work though.It is just a matter of a tick in a box so should not cost much at a indy dealer.Ahh just read the heaters do work
