Disco 2 XYZ Switch Prices

Hi! Just wanted to check in and get an idea of historical prices for the xyz switch (D2).

I feel new replacement parts used to sit around the £200-250 mark?

Looking around now the price is an astronomical £600-750.

Has Land Rover stopped sale of this (Genuine seems OOS most places) and so OEM / Britpart can now charge whatever they feel like, or has the price always fluctuated and increased year on year?

Mental for a bit of plastic and some copper contacts. I can get an entire new auto transmission rebuild from Ashcroft for the same price ha!

So what did you pay for your xyz when it finally reached end of life?

You can take them apart and fix them you know!

Any pointers on fixing this - there’s meant to be four pins here, not three

Oh dear, yours looks worse than others!
In that situation I'd try and get hold a couple of non working ones from a scrappy and take out missing bits from them to then replace and put back together using small nuts and bolts, pop rivets and/or two pack epoxy resin.
