Will corroded wishbones pass Mot?

Running well.

When changing clutch recently noted front wishbones had some corrosion.

NS just slight pitting in a small areas. Not deep. So cleaned and painted.

OS had heavy pitting all over. So cleaned and painted. There are no holes. You cant stab a screwdriver through any where.

Question is how bad can it be before it fails its next MOT?

As long as the examiner feels there's not significant weakening, then there'll be fine. I've seen really heavy corrosion on the wishbones, that have past the MOT just fine.
