what mods have you got to get in such deep water?
got a 2" lift and 15" wheels with MT tyres. its a 1.8 k series with no snorkel. feck knows how i made it through, the marshal said i would be ok going through if i took it easy and he said it wasn't deep. lying git!. the day after i did the course again but bypassed the mud run only to see a standard tdi disco emerge from the water with clouds of white exhaust smoke and a cylinder or 2 missing, so think i was pretty lucky getting through. as for the rest of the course i had no probs at all.

heres a couple more. my engine bay ended up the same colour as the front bumper and it took me 2 1/2 hours with a pressure washer to clean it this morning and then another 1/2 hour to clean the drive. there was also a couple of hills on the course that a disco and a 90 took 2 attempts to get up but i got up them first time so i'm well impressed with the hippo's off road abillity.who needs a low box . traction control and hdc are just as good.:D

10/10 for style, looks like you had a corking bow wave going which probably accounts for getting through. well impressive.

cheers.i was lucky though, the tide mark under the bonnet is touching the bottom of the air intake. i hope the guy who i saw on sunday from the kent land rover club in his 3 cylinder tdi disco got home ok. he sounded well ruff as he came out the mud run and was chucking out more smoke than the flying scotsman on full throttle.
