here's a pic of me doing the mud run at the lro show last weekend, and yes i did make it,and no the doors didn't fall off

got a 2" lift and 15" wheels with MT tyres. its a 1.8 k series with no snorkel. feck knows how i made it through, the marshal said i would be ok going through if i took it easy and he said it wasn't deep. lying git!. the day after i did the course again but bypassed the mud run only to see a standard tdi disco emerge from the water with clouds of white exhaust smoke and a cylinder or 2 missing, so think i was pretty lucky getting through. as for the rest of the course i had no probs at all.what mods have you got to get in such deep water?
maybe, but it made me feel betterIf a disco and a defender struggled to get up what you did, its cus they couldnt drive for sh!t. Not cus the hippo is capable!
it took me 2 1/2 hours with a pressure washer to clean it this morning
Yawn. . . . .dunt take em long to cum outa the wood werkAwww, carmon. Half hour ter wash it & 2 hours re-hanging the doors.![]()
10/10 for style, looks like you had a corking bow wave going which probably accounts for getting through. well impressive.

Thats how long it normally takes me to clean the mud out of my radiator AFTER washing the outside of my landy.![]()
