a thingy for the wotsit, yanno, the doofer that controls the angular vector of the thrust capacitator when defcon is reached!!

god your all dumb :D:D:D

course its a landy - Dico 2

Slight oil leak, cos i park on an incline Ive noticed oil over the front cross member and over the disc shown in the pic.... nothing to write home about but still a leak

With having a missin wading plug could this cause a slight bit of oil to leak

A missing wading plug doesn't cause a leak, it allows the leak within to be seen.

I was always under the impression that wading plugs should be left out unless actually wading - this allows any leaking oil to, well, leak out and so not contaminate the clutch.

The leak is probably coming from the rear crank seal. Not a small job to do.

the plug should be missing unless your going through water, i had the same fear when i saw it on my disco when assessing leaks n squeeks two days after ownership... 10 seconds later the penny dropped think about it you dont need a plug to contain a dry clutch............ like said prob a crank seal or a input shaft seal ;)
