I know this is a difficult question... but what do you think my car is worth....

I got my '99 at 134k FSH from LR (Confirmed through Local LR Dealer) with 12 month Warranty, New Service and MOT with 6 months Tax back in Sept 2011, for a shade under £4k from an Indy LR Specialist.

As the lighter nights are coming back and the snow premium falls off probably not as much as you would like. Diesel up near £1.50 a litre certainly doesn't help. In these impoverished times a 10 year old P38 is not the top of most peoples wanted list.

Could get lucky privately and get a fair price. As for PX, that depends on the deal. I just got a fair price for my 2000 vogue in PX, but then again I paid through the nose for the 2002 vogue that replaced it!!

2 large Nuts bars but only if you take the pimp wheels off.

That's the attitude!

Well is was thinking of getting an L322, seen a bargain, but can't unless the P38 sells for a good price.

Oh well, I'll keep the P38 and get the Classic running this Summer ready for the Snow!

There is one on Autotrader thats similar spec for 5500, but it's been on for ages. I thought about the L322 aswell but the gearbox problems and electronic problems have put me off. Seems like a well sorted P38 is something to keep hold of, I have never seen one in that shade of blue, looks good though.

P38's seem to be notorious for 'Are you buying or are you selling' when trying to work out a price.

If you're buying they're highly priced and if you're selling - well no one wants one!

As the other guys have said, ebay is a place to look for cheap Rangies (and possibly Nasty ones as well) but Autotrader is the place to sell for the better ones and for better money.

Although it does seem to be very much a buyers market at the moment.
