  • yes i was surprised as i was told he was dead, but he is alive and well living in norfolk, still as mad as a march hare.was very ill and nearly died in a coach crash near hastings. but all good now and just got married.going up to see him if the weather ever warms up.
He put a new roof lining in and stuck £1500 on the price!! Didn't sell I think he made about £500 in the end. Had the chance of an L322 V8 60k mileage for £5k, its what they offered my mate px on a demo TDV8. He thought about it for a week in which time the TDV8 was sold. Just as well as the L322 blew up its gear box a week later, lucky escape. Dave Neate, now there's someone I'm surprised is still alive!!!
i saw the old girl down in hastings on ebay. looked lovely, but no bull bar or rear light guards. glad you ok. yes my l322 running lovely. best range rover ever lol. i have caught up with dave neate recently. still as mad as a box of frogs.
Don't worry mate new lining will be going on in the comfort of the living room and the misses has been told that's where it will stay until the glues cured good and proper.

Nearly got an L322 but just thought a mint P38 was the best place for my cash at the moment. The spare cash I had would only get me a tired MK3. Picking the P38 up on Saturday. 2002 Vogue SE with 40k on the clock, absolute mint. I'll pop over before work gets busy and let you have a go in mine if you let me have a go in yours lol.
new headlining, hmmmmmm. too cold for that mate.need it really warm, and lots of clean throw away gloves. i couldnt resist any longer, had to have a 322. and i love it. cant stop using it. pure luxury and near porn as you can get lol. not bad on petrol either. better than the 3.9 i had. go try one. i dare you.. glad you are ok, we will have to meet up soon. been a year now
