if you bought an engine off eBay what would you expect to come with it if described as good working order.
well my 200tdi arrived without starter, engine mounts, exhaust flange, pipework from turbo to inlet manifold or anything really.
was i stupid not to ask if those bits weren't there or was he a bit of a sharp one for not supplying any?

starter are often sold seperate not that i like that, pipes from turbo would have stopped with intercooler exhasust has push on pipe,if your putting any thing apart disco rr fit mounts of old engine you need to pick em up to get extras,i would possibly have most parts on a truck in yard butb you probably want new starter and rad £73 +vat and £100 + vat

You have to read the wording correctly as some are cunning buggers.
But if i was buying a 200 i would want a complete full engine, ie everything to make it run.
How much did you pay?

perhaps best to buy complete motor and sell on what you dont use that way you know how the engine runs plus you get lots of useful bits and the brackets
