Hi,
new to land rovers, have a 6 cylider bmw m tec touring that affords me 25 to 30mpg.
I am looking around at 90's and disco's and as much as the sensible way would imply the 200 or 300Tdi's i am a petrol head, even after all of these years and am forever looking at the V8's.
Is the injection models much better than the carbd versions
What would i expect to the gallon with a V8, round the doors and on a 60mph run.
With gas round the doors and on a run, is there much maintenance of the gas sytem required?
I am looking at 10 to 15K miles a year and have other toys to get me about when the weather isn't inclement or i don't want to hit the green lanes.
Any advise?
