"Firstly thanks for the welcome. As a senior member i would have expected a more mature and educated response. Obviously being 'senior' does not quarantee intelligence. Your ignorance shines through your response. You are exactly the sort of person whose prejudices put people off joining forums. People like you clearly should not leave your country. Your closed mind must be a real asset when you visit other countries. You're clearly a stupid person!! If you haven't got anything nice to say then perhaps you should just SHUT UP! "

It is not considered polite to enter a forum, such as this one, and use it for the simple purpose of spamming. Some of us, myself included, do talk about our businesses from time to time, but we try to do it in a thread where its content will be both relevant to the conversation and useful to other members. Often we are talking to members that we have dealt with on numerous occasions in the past and in this capacity messages like yours might have met with a little more sympathy.

You are correct in your assumption that people on this forum are not particularly polite. Neither are they all well spoken, gramatically correct, politically correct or even (in some cases) as wonderfully good looking as yours truly.

However these are also the reasons why this forum has one of the largest memberships of any land rover forum in Europe. People are free to express themselves as they see fit, and if they are acting like tit then they will be flamed fro it... and rightly so. In your case, you have acted like a tit and spitting your dummy out because you have found a forum honest enough to tell you so rather than simply ignoring you is childish.

It is unfortunate that you are sufficiently inexperienced with forums to recognise that the tag "senior" is earned by a member and relates to the posts - effectively the contribution - that the member concerned makes to the forum. Assuminig that a member with the "senior" tag is immediately going to like youor comments and advertising efforts is a little misguided.

Finally; if you are going to abuse members of the forum so quickly it is usually a good idea to find out something about them first.

Your, frankly laughable, attempt at ridiculing Booger has rendered your status to somewhere vaguely below contemptible. His level of ignorance, lack of intelligence and prejudice is obviously the reason why he has so many thousands of foriegn miles under his belt in so many different overland situations. An author friend of mine, famous for writing some of the most respected literature on overlanding is fond of telling us that overlanding demands "planning, planning, planning!", not something that is possible with the level of intelligence you attribute to booger.

You have been critisized for your choice of business model, from people who would, had they been given the opportunity, have explained in words of few syllables why they would object to paying fees for services such as your own. The smart business move would have been to shut up for a minute and quiz them on their reasons for their dissent. Perhaps this would have led to greater sales and a level of respect for you as you tried to justify what, at first sight, seems to be a way of charging people for something they already have.

I sign off wishing you an early transmission failure on the fast lane of the M1, just north of watford, at about 4:30 on a friday afternoon.

Of course if that happened to any one of us...we'd have plenty of friends to help out... wherever in the world we came from. Can't see that being the case with your attitude.

Hi Everyone!!

Does anyone fancy an overland trip to Northern Spain? It's GBP377.00 per car (tag along) and up to 4 people! and GBP437.00 per person if you don't have a landie. Check out Spanish4X4Expedition | 4x4 Holiday | Landrover Experience for tons more info. The price, in comparison to all the other companies offering this type of holiday, is quite cheap!

Blimey, is there money to be had in that? All the way to Spain!! Must be some gullible, er, loyal customers you lead!

So, if anyone wants an overland trip following, er, being led by my good self to Scandinavia, please feel free to get in touch. I am quite happy to lead, oh, say 400 vehicles of any description as long as we meet at Dover ferry port in the car park and pay cash. This will be easiest for all concerned.

The route will be determined by me and I shall be stopping at a mates house along the way, theres a motorway services nearby where if you give me 10 euros, i'll ring ahead and tell them to put the kettle on.

The final destination is Copenhagens best titty bar and we can all meet at whatever time you turn up. If you're not there within 24 hours of me I'll assume you wandered off and will not think of you ever again.

And if anybody Does tek up Storm,s offer and make it can they please collect a pair of pliers off him and drop them off up ere please upon there return:rolleyes::D:D

I am guessing that if a tiitty bar is a bar full of tits... then its a safe assumption that the OP will be there before you!

Think you'll find we are one of the biggest/busiest landrover sites out there. Thats why everyone wants to plug their wares on here. Just google anything landy related and I bet we are near the top on them all.

:nospamhere::nospamhere:

I know Si, I meant it ironically:rolleyes::D

Well, I've just checked out your Land Rover Experience and can confirm that I've no wish to meet Lonely Housewives. enhance my sexual experience, no wish to become dominant, or read the Love position guide illustrated. In fact I would suggest you seek medical help yourself, now bugger off and shove your spam in some intimate place :nospamhere:

You talk about manners and respect? have you actually looked at what you post? I've copied our conversations and will be sending them onto the owner to find out if this is acceptable behaviour. Like i said i am new here. If i did anything wrong then perhaps the 'respectable' thing for you or the owners to have done would have been to point it out 'privately' and delete the post. I would've had no probelm with that. We are not a big company. It is my boyfriend and I that started this project after being encouraged by Sir Ranulph Fiennes to start our little holidays. We love offroading and so do lots of other people who pay to go offroading. Do you have a Youtube channel with a quarter of a million views helping people fix their land rovers, i doubt it very much. I hope you have enjoyed welcoming us to 'YOUR' forum. It has been very enlightening. All the best with welcoming more new members, especially the females.

**** off spammer
No one is superior to me.
The owners will back us 100% and will probbaly tell you to **** off too.
I thought LZ IS the biggest landy forum......its certainly the first return when googling land rover forum.

I think you are right Gooney, however I never like to present facts in an argument that I can't back up...:D
