"this landy looks very moden looking but is 43 years`old"

Not only is he trying to sell a ringer but the lying bastid can't spell or do maths either.....(1957 to 2011 = 43 years)

Doesn't appear to be possible to contact the buyer, he uses some **** customer service question system.

So which bit is the 1957 series? Definitely not the engine or transmission. Nor the exterior and interior. Brakes and axles aren't.

Does that mean we are expected to believe all the more nmodern bits are hung off a '57 chassis?

At least he's not trying to convince us it's tax free. ;)

"a series 2 a, SWB land rover "
"series swb diesel landrover 1957"

apart from the fact theres nowt series about it, it would bve a series 1 if it was registered in 57, series 2's werent till 58, and i think 2a's were around 64....

Well he's changed his mind again, the listing began saying:

"very morden and drives 10 times better than a standard series"

but has now gone back on this statement and added to the listing saying:

"ex army this is not a moden Landrover "

Does he even know what he is selling any more, shame his spelling still hasn't improved.

Sneaky buggers got a re-direct program so you can only contact him via phone as ebay sends you to some bogus FAQ site that has no FAQ's on it

Guess if you text him he'll ring back so theres no evidence of a conversation

I was going to ask him where the extra 11 years of ageing went alongside since when do the MOD keep landrovers in service 41 years

I was also going to politely ask if he had just bought a 90 and a 1957 rolling chassis with a V5 and swapped some plates over on them, whoever buys it is an idiot
