Series 3 information

I have a series 3 landrover and it has been suggested that it may be a Safari landrover how would I be able to find out or confirm this any help would be apreciated

Any pictures?
I've not a lot of experience with them but the roof was slightly different on safari's?

I believe there are a few differences in the chassis/body mountings as a Safari had no central bulkhead & was a walk- through, along with the fuel tank being mounted in the rear instead of underneath the seat. I think? With Landys being the ultimate full sized meccano set its often difficult to distinguish one from the other! The roof can of course come from any Landy, case in point. Also, check chassis numbers with DVLA should at least tell you what it started out as at least.
