agreed backwards for sandy conditions. however it sounds nice if you have the window down and your driving along hearing it suck away. lol

just drill a hole in bottom of air box to let it drain out ,, simples

my disco has a small hole in the bottom of the airbox. is that normal?
been thinking about a snorkel myself but wondered, if there's a hole in the airbox it'll pour in anyway.
Didn't have much hassle today in Sidmouth ford though.
It was surprisingly good for the time of year.
Went through about 30mph, bottomed the rear suspension, couldn't see out the windscreen for the amount of water that came up over.
little kids watching enjoyed the show, so turned round and went through again.
not a hint of water in the intake, even though i've got a stock airbox and have removed the wing ducting pipe. so it's just got the big hole in the front.

When fitting a snorkle it's normal to block the drain hole in the filter housing.
But I wouldn't worry to much as it doesn't sound like your vehicle is going to last long anyway
