Same with me, always got pulled when it was standard, now with all the lights, tints, bigger tyres and louder exhaust ;)! Makes no sense, all my friends in there 1.0 and 1.2s get pulled regularly haha

Whilst im here, you know what i like most about yours rob is that it (probably) drives as well as if not better than a standard car, because its all so fresh and unshagged.

mine drives like a buxom wench who has had three days work at the local brothel and sometimes it becomes tiresome, plus the usage that off roaders get means that nothing new stays shiny for long. this pains me!

yours is like the ultimate daily

sound :)

i'm glad i'm not the only person who has this problem... the shineyness that i've lost on noo bits n the constant rattles n creaks and whining noises that you have to realistically expect from a worked off roader don't half grate on me now n then!

but then i chuck it through a load of mud n forget all about it

Yep! They're in their element getting ####ed up off road, stick it on Tarmac and it lets you know how disappointed it is in you and your choice of road surface :D

heres a couple of ideas for mine, wouldnt mind redoing mine, got a compressor and spray gun here so can be posh and avoid rollers. lacquer is shagged and all ruined so needs repainting, it should be silver on the roof but its mostly white, no shine left at all in it!

im swaying towards the grey, and go for a gunmetal shade, that way i dont have to change the v5, would repaint trim and roof bars and wheels too at some point.

i have two sets of alloys for this and a set of steels so can paint them in a range of colours

opinions?

NATO green all the way. Looks good mate don't get me wrong but too poncey. Need hammering up a mountain!!! Scratch that lovely paint work, put a few dents in that perfect body, smash the odd headlight with a few cracks on the indicators then and only then will she look as she's supposed to...... :D

Mine was covered in scratches so all i did was give the paint a rub down with a small sander then spray painted it with the right base colour which is niagara grey, did all the handles and trims down the sides and it dries with a satin finish it looks pretty good im not sure whether to spray laquer over it or leave it as it is lol
